The 24th China Environmental Expo 2023 opened on April 19 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, bringing together 2,407 environmental protection companies from around the world to showcase cutting-edge technological achievements across the entire spectrum of the industry, including water and wastewater treatment, water supply and drainage, solid waste treatment and disposal, air pollution control, contaminated site remediation, and environmental monitoring.
On the opening day, the 2023 China Environmental Expo Top 100 Enterprises Awards Ceremony was held, during which the “2023 China Environmental Expo Top 100 Enterprises List” was announced. For the first time, this year’s exhibition utilized all 17 exhibition halls at the Shanghai New International Expo Center, covering nearly 196,000 square meters—making it the largest edition in history. At the opening ceremony on April 19, national pavilions from seven countries—Germany, Denmark, Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands, South Korea, and the United States—made their debut. Numerous Fortune 500 companies, central and state-owned enterprises, listed companies, industry leaders, and emerging technology firms participated in the exhibition, offering new ideas, technologies, and models for global ecological and environmental governance through a range of materials, equipment, technologies, and integrated solutions.
